Job summary

Range Group in Toronto is seeking an experienced Senior BI Developer to modernize our analytics platform and deliver executive reporting. You will lead the migration from legacy SQL Server and Power BI Desktop to a Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, building curated datasets and KPI models that power leadership decisions.

Working with the Analytics Senior Director, you will translate business metrics into scalable Fabric-based models, support AI-driven analytics, and ensure the platform supports

Qualifications

Strong Power BI development experience with data modeling and performance optimization.
Advanced SQL development and experience building executive KPI dashboards.
Experience designing Power BI semantic models, not just visuals.
Hands-on with forecasting or time intelligence models and fabric/azure platforms.

Responsibilities

Design and build executive dashboards in Power BI for leadership insights.
Implement dynamic forecasting and run-rate projections.
Integrate financial assumptions to support profit and margin visibility.
Develop KPI summaries, variance views, and trend analysis.
Enable drill-down across company, business unit, and operational drivers.
Lead migration of BI datasets to Fabric and develop curated semantic models.
