COREcruitment Ltd is seeking a Regional Director of Hotel Operations based in Vancouver to lead a portfolio of 10+ owned and managed hotels across North America, reporting to the Director of Operations. The role focuses on driving service standards, profitability, and guest experience across multiple properties.

Relocation support is provided, including airfare and temporary accommodation. Travel to the US and Toronto is expected a few times per year as part of portfolio oversight and leadership

Qualifications

• Senior-level hotel operations experience required.
• GM experience strongly preferred.
• Luxury or upscale hotel background preferred, ideally within a Four Seasons, Fairmont, or comparable environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Operations in overseeing operational performance across the hotel portfolio.
• Partner with General Managers to drive service standards, guest satisfaction, profitability, and operational excellence.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to hotel leadership teams.
• Review operational performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement best practices.
• Build strong relationships with General Managers and property-level leadership.
• Support strategic initiatives and operational projects across the portfolio.
• Ensure consistency in standards, processes, and guest experience across properties.
• Travel approximately 3 times annually to the US and 2 times annually to Toronto.

I am hiring on behalf of a leading hospitality group for a newly created Regional Director of Hotel Operations position, based in Vancouver.

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Assistant Director of Hotel Operations will support the operational performance of a portfolio of 10+ owned and managed hotels across North America.

This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and hotel General Managers, providing operational guidance, driving standards, and supporting the continued performance and growth of the portfolio.

• Support the Director of Operations in overseeing operational performance across the hotel portfolio.
• Partner closely with General Managers to drive service standards, guest satisfaction, profitability, and operational excellence.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to hotel leadership teams.

Candidate Profile

• Proven senior-level hotel operations experience.
• Previous General Manager experience strongly preferred.
• Luxury or upscale hotel background preferred, ideally within a Four Seasons, Fairmont, or comparable environment.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations and the ability to work credibly with experienced General Managers.
• Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
• Strong leadership presence, work ethic, and commercial mindset.
• Comfortable working across multiple properties and markets.
• Hospitality degree is not required; relevant operational experience is the priority.
