JOB SUMMARY:

The
Excavator Operatorreports to a Lead Hand/Foreman to assist in the installation of electrical & underground utilities. We are looking for an operator whose primary experience is in an excavator. The ability to run other equipment would be considered an asset.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working5 - 6 days a week, 8 - 10 hours a day.
• Operate Heavy Equipment - Specifically Excavator
• Primary role will be excavating trenches at 1.5 meter depth.
• Ability to run other equipment (Skid Steer, Loader, Backhoe) is considered an asset.
• Dig, backfill, and sand trenches with heavy equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance procedures on equipment.
• Site setup and cleanup.
• Adapt to changing priorities.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Perform labour tasks, as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Class5Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift50lbs.
• Competency drivingstandard vehiclesis considered an asset.
• Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, bend and walk.
