Job Title: Events Coordinator
Location: St. Mary’s South Side Catholic High School, St. Louis, MO
Type: Full-Time | Benefits Included | Evening/Weekend Availability Required

Position Overview
St. Mary’s South Side Catholic High School—an all-boys, independent Catholic high school located in the heart of Dutchtown—seeks a highly organized and mission-driven Events Coordinator to lead and support the planning and execution of a wide range of fundraising and school events.
This full-time role plays a vital part in the life of the school, ensuring events are professionally executed, community-focused, and aligned with our mission of serving young men in South St. Louis through a safe, high-performing, and inclusive Catholic education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of major school events, including:
    • Legacy Gala Auction, Music Trivia Night, and Grandparents Day
  • Support the planning and execution of other school events, including:
    • Graduation, Baccalaureate Mass, Junior Ring Ceremony
    • Art Show, Band Concerts, Renaissance Awards/NHS Induction, Career Day
  • Support all major admissions events:
    • Open House, Shadow Days, Interview Nights, Registration Nights, Freshman Orientation, and High School Fairs
  • Coordinate logistics, setup, communications, and volunteer support
  • Collaborate with school leaders and parent groups to ensure high-quality experiences

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Hospitality, Education, or related field.
  • Experience in Event Planning required
  • Ability to coordinate multiple events simultaneously, manage timelines, logistics, vendors, and budgets.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations, including faculty, staff, students, alumni, and volunteers.
  • Comfortable using email marketing tools, event platforms (like Givesmart), and Microsoft Office/Google Suite
  • Availability to work evenings/weekends as needed for school events
