Event Specialist - Oliver and Bonacini Hospitality

Join our dynamic team as an Event Specialist, where you'll manage inbound business inquiries and ensure seamless event experiences. You will guide clients through the event cycle with attention to detail, using tools like Delphi and Social Tables to share accurate event information with clients and internal teams. The Day to Day:

1. Network and build relationships with new and current clients
2. Communicate with clients, gather event details, prepare packages, and send confirmation details
3. Use sales tools to close leads, including proposals, site tours, and planning meetings
4. Follow up with clients post-event to generate new bookings and opportunities
5. Provide superior customer service through client feedback and repeat events
6. Pay attention to details and ask key questions during event planning
7. Manage time effectively to meet deadlines for BEOs and respond promptly to client requests
8. Contribute to the team’s sales targets and produce accurate forecasts
9. Share ideas and collaborate with team members to achieve venue goals
10. Identify promising business opportunities and present them for management negotiation
11. Anticipate operational and kitchen needs
12. Maintain a positive attitude and presence at work

Qualifications:

1. 3-5 years of experience coordinating various events, including high-profile functions
2. Understanding of equipment and event rentals
3. Administrative experience with marketing and sales exposure
4. Ability to work independently and in a team, with self-motivation
5. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
6. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
7. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and sales ability
8. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively with professionalism
