A leading event services provider in Halifax is looking for an Event Services Technician to manage the physical setup and teardown of events. You will ensure venues are prepared according to specifications while maintaining a positive guest experience. Ideal candidates should possess basic math and computer skills, and physical endurance is essential. This is a full-time position that may include long shifts and overnight options.
Events East Group invites applications for the position of Event Services Technician (core) with our Event Services team. The Event Services Technician (ET) is responsible for performing assigned tasks related to the overall physical setup and teardown for the Halifax Convention Centre (HCC), Scotiabank Centre (SBC), and Events East Group events. Reporting to the Event Services Department Managers, ETs work closely to ensure event spaces are set up correctly and safely according to event orders. Event Technicians interact with guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner to consistently exceed customer expectations and contribute to a positive, safe, and inclusive team environment.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: This is a bargaining unit position represented by SEIU Local 2. This position is classified as ET and is paid as per the Collective Agreement.
