Job summary

Northland Properties is seeking energetic Event Servers for Moxies Barlow and Sandman Signature Calgary Airport to support a busy Christmas season and a growing calendar of high-volume corporate events.

You will provide attentive service, assist with setup and teardown, serve plated meals and buffets, and collaborate closely with the Event Captain and kitchen team to ensure guest satisfaction and safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, professional service during corporate events, holiday parties, meetings, banquets, and private celebrations.
• Assist with event setup, room resets, service execution, and teardown.
• Serve plated meals, buffets, receptions, and beverage service with confidence and efficiency.
• Review event details and communicate with the Event Captain, culinary team, and Events Department.
• Maintain accurate product and menu knowledge, including dietary restrictions and allergies.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond quickly to requests.
• Follow service standards, liquor regulations, and health & safety procedures.
• Help keep event spaces polished, organized, and guest-ready.
• Support teammates during high-volume service and contribute wherever needed.

Our Events Department at Moxies Barlow and Sandman Signature Calgary Airport is looking for enthusiastic Event Servers to join our team as we prepare for the busy Christmas season and a growing calendar of high-volume corporate meetings, conferences, celebrations, and special events.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hospitality, thrives in a high-energy environment, and wants to gain experience in banquet service and event operations with one of Canada's fastest-growing hospitality groups.

What You'll Do

• Previous restaurant, banquet, catering, or event-service experience is an asset
• Familiarity with basic audio-visual equipment is an asset
• Valid Alberta ProServe certification, or willingness to obtain it
