We are currently seeking dedicated and highly motivated individuals to join our team as Event Security Officers.

Job Description

As an Event Security Officer at Admiral Security, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and smooth operation of events such as concerts, festivals, corporate functions, and public gatherings. You will be responsible for maintaining a secure, welcoming environment for guests, staff, and performers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Access Control & Crowd Management: Monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage guest flow, and ensure only authorized individuals gain access to restricted areas.
  • Patrols & Presence: Conduct routine patrols of event grounds to deter disturbances, enforce event rules, and maintain a visible security presence.
  • Emergency Response: Respond quickly and effectively to incidents such as medical emergencies, disturbances, evacuations, or safety hazards, following established protocols.
  • Surveillance & Monitoring: Observe crowd behavior and identify potential risks or suspicious activity, taking proactive measures to prevent incidents.
  • Customer Service: Act as a point of contact for guests by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with concerns in a professional and approachable manner.
  • Incident Reporting: Complete clear, accurate, and timely reports documenting any incidents, actions taken, and observations during your shift.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with event staff, fellow security personnel, law enforcement, and emergency services to ensure coordinated operations.
Qualifications
  • No Prior License Required: We assist with the security guard licensing process.
  • First Aid & CPR Certification: Considered a strong asset (may be required for certain events).
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to interact effectively with diverse crowds in high-energy environments.
  • Situational Awareness: Alert, observant, and capable of making quick decisions under pressure.
  • Customer Service Skills: Friendly, approachable, and professional in all interactions.
  • Professional Demeanor: Ability to remain calm, composed, and authoritative when needed.
  • Valid NB Driver’s License: Considered an asset.

Responsabilités clés
  • Contrôle d’accès et gestion des foules : Vérifier les accès, gérer les entrées et sorties, et contrôler les zones restreintes.
  • Rondes Et Présence : Effectuer des rondes régulières pour prévenir les incidents et assurer une présence dissuasive.
  • Intervention En Cas D’urgence : Réagir rapidement aux situations d’urgence (médicales, évacuations, conflits) selon les procédures établies.
  • Surveillance : Observer les comportements et identifier les risques potentiels afin de prévenir les incidents.
  • Service à La Clientèle : Aider les participants, fournir des informations et répondre aux demandes avec professionnalisme.
  • Rédaction De Rapports : Documenter avec précision les incidents et activités survenus pendant votre quart de travail.
  • Collaboration : Travailler en collaboration avec les équipes de l’événement, les forces de l’ordre et les services d’urgence.
Qualifications
  • Aucune licence requise : Nous offrons de l’aide pour l’obtention du permis.
  • Certification premiers soins/RCR : Un atout important.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication.
  • Sens de l’observation et réactivité.
  • Orientation service à la clientèle.
  • Professionnalisme et sang‑froid.
  • Permis de conduire valide au Nouveau-Brunswick : Un atout.
  • Bilinguisme (français/anglais) : es un atout.
