This role is essential for upholding security, delivering outstanding customer service, and ensuring seamless management of events. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform comprehensive security screenings at event entry points to prevent unauthorized objects, individuals, and luggage from entering.
• Monitor the event premises vigilantly and respond swiftly to any suspicious behavior, disruptions, or unforeseen circumstances.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting event participants, responding to requests, and ensuring a positive experience for all.
• Ensure compliance with event protocols and safety measures, including crowd management, to maintain decorum and prevent disturbances.
• Coordinate security efforts and respond effectively to incidents by collaborating with event planners, venue staff, and authorities.
• Maintain accurate records of security violations, disruptions, or incidents occurring during events.
• Operate and maintain security equipment such as metal detectors, communication devices, and surveillance cameras.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid security guard permit issued by the relevant authority.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with attendees, staff, and officials.
• Ability to remain calm and composed during tense situations and respond appropriately.
• Knowledge of event security procedures and experience managing public gatherings is advantageous.
• Preferred certification in First Aid and CPR.
• Availability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
