Hello and welcome to DAYBREAKER! We are a global morning dance community of 1M+ and growing, waking up and dancing in iconic locations worldwide, such as the World Trade Center, Sydney Opera House, Smithsonian Museum, and the White House. We break the day with energy and intention, fostering a community of adventure-seekers, mischief makers, and joy enthusiasts.

We are a Brooklyn-based family led by three best friends, supported by a small but dedicated team. We value kindness, service, optimism, and joy, aiming to encourage more people to dance, connect, and express themselves, especially post-pandemic.

What We Do
We are the original coffee party, specializing in morning dance and wellness events in iconic spaces globally (daybreaker.com). We are a substance-free community reimagining socializing without alcohol or drugs. As experience designers, creatives, storytellers, and community architects, we are building a lasting movement that supports local communities for years to come.

The Role

As a member of the Daybreaker team, you will be the face of Daybreaker in your city, responsible for building an engaged community, producing memorable experiences, and promoting events. You will be supported by the HQ team with coaching and resources, but will need to bring passion, creativity, and hustle to create unique experiences. Your responsibilities include venue sourcing, talent sourcing, volunteer team cultivation, vendor and sponsor coordination, local partnerships, and event production. Marketing, operations, branding, sponsorship, and PR support will be provided.

Requirements
  • Live a healthy, conscious lifestyle with a love for dance music
  • Be detailed, hardworking, and professional
  • Active in the startup/tech, health & wellness, or arts & culture communities
  • Have a strong network of millennials and community leadership
  • Capable of producing immersive, transcendent events from start to finish
  • Preferably, but not required, a Burning Man participant
You'll Need
  • An entrepreneurial, organized, self-starting mindset
  • Several years of large-scale event production experience
  • A network of influencers, creatives, and experience-seekers
  • Strong community-building skills
  • Cultural savvy and knowledge of the local arts scene
  • A flexible schedule
  • A big heart, clear mind, and enthusiasm for surprises and delights
