Your Role in Our Journey

The Event Planner plays a key role in supporting and leading client events. Responsible for managing end-to-end planning and execution of in-person, hybrid, and virtual events, this role works closely with Senior Planners to oversee large events and lead pivotal areas of event management. Reporting to the Team Lead, Events, the planner will bring a detail-oriented and strategic approach to logistics and client experience, contributing to event success. Relationship Building
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, vendors, and partners
  • Understand clients’ vision, goals, and expectations for events
  • Align communication channels and update methods with clients (meetings, emails, reports)
  • Attend board and committee meetings and take minutes when necessary
  • Collaborate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth event execution aligned with client visions
Planning & Execution
  • Lead end-to-end planning, ensuring timelines and deliverables meet expectations
  • Manage vendors and venues aligned with event goals
  • Proactively deliver engaging, modern events with innovative approaches
  • Ensure flawless execution through detailed preparation and coordination using critical planning documents
Learning, Growth & Team Contribution
  • Seek opportunities to enhance planning skills and industry knowledge
  • Implement feedback from Senior Planners and Team Lead for continuous improvement
  • Support documentation, reporting, and process development initiatives
You’ll Thrive in this Role if:
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, Communications, Not-for-Profit Management, or a related field
  • You possess 1-3+ years of relevant experience in full-scope event planning, including complex, large-scale events with high attendance
Serious Bonus Points if:
  • You have experience working at an agency, not-for-profit, or association management company
  • You hold a Digital Event Strategist (DES), Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), or similar designation
  • You are bilingual in English and French
Compensation and Benefits

We offer fair, transparent, and growth-oriented compensation:

  • Base salary: $58,000 - $68,000 depending on experience
  • Health, dental, vision, and drug benefits
