Job summary

Alleguard is seeking a General Laborer in Toronto to support production and repack operations. You will move products through the drying/curing area and assist with packing, labeling, and shipping preparations.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and readiness to work Sunday through Tuesday, 6pm–6am. Probation applies with CAD 18/hr; benefits after 6 months are available.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Able to manage and set priorities in a changing environment.
• High degree of self-motivation and flexibility.
• Analytical and structured work approach.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders or instructions to determine assignments and material needs.
• Record numbers of units handled using production sheets or tickets.
• Pack materials and products for shipment or storage according to standards.
• Label items accurately per shipping and inventory guidelines.
• Secure packages and pallets for safe transport and storage.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas per safety policies.
• Comply with environmental and safety programs and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties.
