Job summary

Alleguard is seeking a General Laborer in Toronto to support production and repack operations. You will move products through the drying/curing area and assist with packing, labeling, and shipping preparations.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and readiness to work Sunday through Tuesday, 6pm–6am. Probation applies with CAD 18/hr; benefits after 6 months are available.

Pay

• $18 CAD/hr (probation first three months)
• $18.72 following three-month probationary period

Job Summary

Support the production and repack operations through the physical movement of products that are required to be processed through the drying/curing room.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
• Pack materials and products for shipment or storage according to company standards and customer requirements.
• Label items accurately and clearly in accordance with shipping and inventory guidelines.
• Strap, wrap, or secure packages and pallets to ensure safe transport and storage.
• Clean equipment, work areas, and general facility space to maintain a safe and organized environment.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area. Perform duties in compliance with all safety policies and practices.
• Compliance with legal environmental and safety requirements of the area.
• Know the environmental aspects of the area and its control.
• Know the environmental impacts associated with their activities.Follow all Environmental and Safety policies.
• Comply with procedures, regulations, and instructions of environmental and safety programs.
• Other duties asassigned.

• Position requires the ability to stand, bend, and stretch over extended periods of time during a normal work shift.
