Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a Line Operator for our Montréal site. You will operate production line equipment, monitor daily activities, and ensure quality while adhering to health and safety policies. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will collaborate with other teams to keep production running smoothly.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliability in a dynamic recycling environment. A permanent, full-time position with group insurance and RRSP matching is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Fluent French language, both spoken and written.
• Ability to operate computer tools and basic CMMS knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment at start of shift and report issues to Team Leader.
• Adjust equipment and production parameters as needed.
• Maintain a steady flow of material on the production line.
• Monitor equipment performance and take corrective action when needed.
• Check quality and ensure material meets standards.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and keep area clean.
• Enter data and complete required reports in CMMS.
