Job summary

AIM Recycling in Montréal is seeking a Line Operator to join our team. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will operate production line equipment, monitor daily activities, adjust parameters, and ensure the quality of the processed material while upholding health and safety standards.

This permanent full-time role offers group insurance, RRSP with employer matching, safety boots, training, and a collaborative, safety-conscious work environment. Fluently French is preferred for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good command of French, both spoken and written.
• Comfortable using computer tools.
• Conscientious, organized and safety-conscious.
• Enjoy teamwork and can also work independently.
• Experience in industrial or production environment (asset).
• Experience as production operator or with industrial equipment (asset).

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment at the beginning of the shift and report issues to the Team Leader.
• Adjust equipment and production parameters as needed.
• Ensure a consistent flow of material on the production line.
• Monitor equipment performance and take action when issues arise.
• Check the quality of processed material and ensure it meets established standards.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and keep the work area clean.
• Enter data, create work orders in the CMMS and complete required reports.
• Work safely and follow company health and safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with different teams to ensure smooth production operations.
• Perform other related duties as required.
