Job summary

St. Michael’s Health Group in Edmonton is hiring a General Support Worker for Millennium Pavilion Seniors' Lodge. This permanent part-time role offers evening shifts and requires dedication to compassionate, resident-centered care.

You will perform housekeeping, food service, and support tasks, helping residents maintain independence in a warm, home-like environment. Successful candidates complete background checks and comply with safety and health requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 10 education required.
• Friendly disposition and strong communication skills.
• Physically and mentally fit to perform duties.
• Willingness to work closely with seniors and align with SMHG values.

Responsibilities

• Follows all policies, directives, procedures, rules, regulations and Acts pertaining to the operation of Millennium Pavilion Seniors' Lodge.
• Maintains a home-like environment for Residents and supports independence, privacy and dignity.
• Performs housekeeping duties including cleaning of common areas, laundry and linen management.
• Assists with food service, meal setup and service, and maintains dining areas in a clean, orderly manner.
• Completes required checks and safety measures prior to start and adheres to safety guidelines.
