Job summary

Chinook School Division is seeking part-time custodians for Leader Composite School in Saskatchewan. The positions are 0.50 FTE, 4 hours per day from 3pm to 7pm, with start as soon as possible.

Applicants should demonstrate commitment to diversity, inclusion, and a positive school environment. Responsibilities include daily cleaning, periodic maintenance, snow removal, and safe operation of cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Grade 12 diploma or GED preferred.
• Fireman’s Certificate, First Aid/CPR, WHMIS or willingness to obtain.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning processes, products and equipment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic building maintenance procedures, tools and equipment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning and disinfecting during school attendance.
• Special cleaning during school breaks.
• Minor repairs and maintenance.
• Operating mechanical equipment such as snow blower, lawn mower, power scrubber.
• Yard work including snow removal and lawn mowing.
