Qualifications

• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to read measurements (imperial and metric).
• Ability to use vernier calipers or other measuring instruments.
• Very good physical stamina.
• Punctuality.
• Reliability.
• Organization and attention to order.
• High school diploma.
• Experience in steel cable splicing is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist the splicer in carrying out their tasks.
• Measure, cut, roll, and assemble cable diameters and accessories as required.
• Follow work procedures and deadlines.
• Complete production reports and documentation.
• Inform supervisor of non-conformity or equipment breakdown.
• Participate in training new employees.
• Comply with ISO standards and health and safety procedures.
• Follow company policies and regulations.
• Perform other tasks as required.
