Job summary

Dexterra Group is hiring an evening Cleaner to maintain and clean all hard floor surfaces and other accessible areas. The role includes cleaning surfaces at heights as needed and removing waste from drop points to bins or compactors. The evening shift runs from 7:00 P.M. to 3:00 A.M. and this is a temporary position.

You will be responsible for floor care, sanitizing washrooms, replenishing supplies, dusting reachable surfaces, and polishing metal surfaces. A valid background check is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a great attitude and be able to work independently or in a team.
• Experience with floor care, scrubbing, buffing and polishing floors is an asset.
• Able to operate cleaning equipment and machines.
• Ability to communicate with supervisor, client and general public.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• A clear criminal background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean floors using buffing equipment.
• Clean and sanitize washrooms, common and entrance areas.
• Replenish supplies such as toilet rolls and soap.
• Dust visible surfaces within reach, including phone booths, countertops, pillars and fixtures.
• Clean and polish chrome and other polished metal surfaces.
