Job summary

MacEwen Petroleum Inc. in Maxville, Ontario seeks Fuels, Propane and DEF Delivery Drivers to load and deliver fuels, propane, and DEF to our residential and commercial customers. This full-time, permanent role starts at 5:00 pm with 8–12 hour shifts and occasional weekends.

The position offers fully paid training, bonuses, overtime pay after 44 hours, uniforms, benefits after 3 months, RRSP matching from day one, and opportunities to advance as you grow skills and responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Valid DZ license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of commercial DZ driving experience.
  • Clean driver’s abstract and acceptable CVOR.
  • Mechanical inclination desirable.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform circle checks.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe and timely delivery of fuels, propane and DEF to residential and commercial customers.
  • Work regular evening shifts, including some weekends as part of the paid-on-call rotation.
  • Maintain accurate records including delivery logs and dangerous goods reports.
  • Keep truck, cab and work area clean; perform mandatory circle checks.
  • Share information with dispatch and suggest safety/productivity improvements.
  • Obey all regulations affecting motor vehicle operation.
  • Perform other duties as required.

We have openings for Fuels, Propane and DEF Delivery Drivers to serve our growing customer base. This is a highly respected role in our company as we recognize our operations are great because of our professional drivers.

The Fuels, Propane, and DEF Delivery Driver is responsible for the courteous, safe, timely, and efficient loading and delivery of fuels, propane, and DEF.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working evenings on 8-12 hour shifts starting at 5:00 pm from our Maxville Division, including occasional weekends.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
  • Ensure safe and timely delivery of petroleum products, propane and DEF to residential and commercial customers.
  • Be required to work regular evening shifts, including some weekends as part of the paid-on-call rotation.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping including product delivery, maintenance of logbooks, and transportation of dangerous goods reports.
  • Along with performing mandatory circle checks, maintain the cleanliness of the truck, cab, and work location.
  • Share all pertinent information with dispatch including improvement suggestions for safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Obey all legal and company regulations affecting the operation of motor vehicles.
  • Perform other duties as required.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
  • Valid DZ license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of commercial DZ driving experience.
  • Clean driver’s abstract and acceptable CVOR.
  • Mechanical inclination is desirable.
  • Ability and willingness to be cross-trained on fuel and propane deliveries as well as tank installations, etc.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; position requires frequent bending and moving heavy loads.
  • Local geographical knowledge is required.
  • Positive and humble attitude.
  • Demonstrates a safety-first approach to the role.
