Job summary

MacEwen Petroleum in Belleville, ON is seeking experienced DZ Delivery Drivers for the winter season (Nov to Mar) to ensure safe, timely propane deliveries to homes and businesses. This full-time role requires a rotating two-week schedule and weekend work.

Starting wage is 31.15 per hour, with paid training, overtime after 44 hours, and benefits including vacation pay and a matching RRSP. You will operate within regulatory guidelines and maintain logs and vehicle safety.

Qualifications

• Valid DZ certification is required.
• Minimum of 3 years post-certification driving experience.
• Experience with liquid bulk and fuel haulage is desirable.
• PM3/PM4/PMH licenses are assets.
• Clean CVOR and driving abstract required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and timely delivery of propane to residential and commercial customers.
• Work day shifts with weekend on-call schedule as required.
• Maintain logs and records for deliveries and transport of dangerous goods.
• Assist with setup of customer skid tanks when needed.
• Perform circle checks and keep truck and cab clean.
• Share safety and productivity feedback with dispatch.
• Adhere to all regulations and company policies governing operation of vehicles.

MacEwen Petroleum is a rapidly growing, diversified company focused on long-term success. We’re looking for experienced, DZ Delivery Drivers to join our teams inBelleville, ONfor the winter season (November to the end of March) in a full- time capacity (minimum 80 hrs every two weeks). While working a rotating two week shift schedule with the requirement of working 2 weekends per month, you’ll ensure the safe and timely delivery of propane to homes and businesses.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Ensure safe and timely delivery of petroleum products to commercial and residential customers.
• Perform day shifts during the workweek and occasionally on weekends as part of the compensated on-call schedule.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping, including product delivery, maintenance of logbooks, and transportation of dangerous goods reports.
• Assist with the delivery and set-up of customer skid tanks when required.
• Perform mandatory circle checks, and maintain the truck, cab, uniform and work location clean.
• Along with performing mandatory circle checks, maintain the cleanliness of the truck, cab, and work location.
• Share all pertinent information with dispatch, including improvement suggestions for safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with the delivery of lubricants and other products and equipment, when required.
• Adhere to all legal and company regulations affecting the operation of motor vehicles.
• Perform other duties as required.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Education and Experience Required:

• Valid DZ certification is required.
• Minimum of (3) years post-certification driving required.
• Experience driving liquid bulk is desirable.
• Fuel haulage and/or delivery experience is highly desirable.
• PM3, PM4, or PMH licenses are considered an asset.
• Forklift and Boom Truck experience is an asset.
• Mechanical inclination is required.
• Must possess a clean 'abstract' and acceptable CVOR.

• Ability to lift to 50 pounds; position requires frequent bending and moving heavy loads.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends, on occasion.
• Out-of-town travel may be required.
• Willingness to be cross-trained in delivering multiple products, equipment, etc.
