Job summary

MacEwen Petroleum is seeking experienced DZ Delivery Drivers for Pembroke, ON, during the winter season (Nov–Mar) in a full-time role with a rotating two-week schedule and two weekend duties per month. You will deliver propane safely and on time to homes and businesses while maintaining logs and equipment in excellent condition.

The role requires a valid DZ, 3+ years of driving post-certification, and the ability to work in all weather.

Qualifications

• Valid DZ certification is required.
• Minimum of 3 years post-certification driving experience.
• Experience driving liquid bulk is desirable.
• Fuel haulage and/or delivery experience is highly desirable.
• PM3, PM4, or PMH licenses are considered an asset.
• Forklift and Boom Truck experience is an asset.
• Mechanical inclination is required.
• Must possess a clean abstract and acceptable CVOR.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and timely delivery of propane to commercial and residential customers.
• Perform day shifts during the workweek and occasional weekends as part of the compensated on-call schedule.
• Maintain accurate records, including logbooks and product delivery details.
• Assist with delivery and setup of customer skid tanks when required.
• Perform mandatory circle checks and keep truck, cab, uniform, and work location clean.
• Share information with dispatch and offer safety, productivity, and customer-satisfaction improvements.

MacEwen Petroleum is a rapidly growing, diversified company focused on long-term success. We're looking for experienced, DZ Delivery Drivers to join our teams in Pembroke, ON for the winter season (November to the end of March) in a full- time capacity (minimum 80 hrs every two weeks). While working a rotating two week shift schedule with the requirement of working 2 weekends per month, you'll ensure the safe and timely delivery of propane to homes and businesses.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Ensure safe and timely delivery of petroleum products to commercial and residential customers.
• Perform day shifts during the workweek and occasionally on weekends as part of the compensated on-call schedule.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping, including product delivery, maintenance of logbooks, and transportation of dangerous goods reports.
• Assist with the delivery and set-up of customer skid tanks when required.
• Perform mandatory circle checks, and maintain the truck, cab, uniform and work location clean.
• Along with performing mandatory circle checks, maintain the cleanliness of the truck, cab, and work location.
• Share all pertinent information with dispatch, including improvement suggestions for safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with the delivery of lubricants and other products and equipment, when required.
• Adhere to all legal and company regulations affecting the operation of motor vehicles.
• Perform other duties as required.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Education and Experience Required:

• Valid DZ certification is required.
• Minimum of (3) years post-certification driving required.
• Experience driving liquid bulk is desirable.
• Fuel haulage and/or delivery experience is highly desirable.
• PM3, PM4, or PMH licenses are considered an asset.
