Job summary

MacEwen Petroleum Inc. is seeking experienced, DZ Delivery Drivers for Belleville, ON, for the winter season. This full-time role involves delivering propane to homes and businesses on a rotating two-week schedule, with two weekends per month.

The role emphasizes safety, timely deliveries, and customer service. Starting wage is $31.15 per hour with fully paid training and overtime after 44 hours. Benefits include 6% vacation pay, matching RRSP, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• DZ certification is required and a clean driving abstract is essential.
• Experience driving liquid bulk or fuel haulage is desirable.
• Must possess a clean driver's abstract and acceptable CVOR.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and timely delivery of petroleum to commercial and residential customers.
• Perform day shifts and occasional weekends as part of the on-call schedule.
• Maintain accurate records including delivery logs and DG reports.
• Assist with delivery and setup of customer skid tanks when required.
• Perform circle checks and keep truck, cab, uniform, and worksite clean.
• Share information with dispatch and suggest safety or productivity improvements.
• Support delivery of lubricants and other products when required.
• Adhere to all legal and company regulations for motor vehicle operation.

Overview

MacEwen Petroleum is a rapidly growing, diversified company focused on long-term success. We’re looking for experienced, DZ Delivery Drivers to join our teams in Belleville, ON for the winter season (November to the end of March) in a full-time capacity (minimum 80 hrs every two weeks). While working a rotating two week shift schedule with the requirement of working 2 weekends per month, you’ll ensure the safe and timely delivery of propane to homes and businesses.

In This Role, You Will

• Ensure safe and timely delivery of petroleum products to commercial and residential customers.


• Perform day shifts during the workweek and occasionally on weekends as part of the compensated on-call schedule.


• Ensure accurate record-keeping, including product delivery, maintenance of logbooks, and transportation of dangerous goods reports.


• Assist with the delivery and set-up of customer skid tanks when required.


• Perform mandatory circle checks, and maintain the truck, cab, uniform and work location clean.


• Along with performing mandatory circle checks, maintain the cleanliness of the truck, cab, and work location.


• Share all pertinent information with dispatch, including improvement suggestions for safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.


• Assist with the delivery of lubricants and other products and equipment, when required.


• Adhere to all legal and company regulations affecting the operation of motor vehicles.


• Perform other duties as required.

What We're Looking For

Education and Experience Required:

• Valid DZ certification is required.


• Minimum of (3) years post-certification driving required.


• Experience driving liquid bulk is desirable.


• Fuel haulage and/or delivery experience is highly desirable.


• PM3, PM4, or PMH licenses are considered an asset.


• Forklift and Boom Truck experience is an asset.


• Mechanical inclination is required.


• Must possess a clean 'abstract' and acceptable CVOR.
