Evening Cleaning Floater Position

We are currently looking for a cleaning technician in the Fredericton area for evening cleaning. The ideal candidate has a valid driver’s license, is flexible with hours, and can work independently or as part of a team.

Hours can vary, but the average schedule is:

• Sundays from 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm
• Monday – Thursday from 5:00 pm – 12:00 am

35 hours per week.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Reliability
• Experience in janitorial work is an asset but not required
• Flexibility with hours, willingness to stay late or come early
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Clean criminal record and ability to provide a police background check
• Ability to take direction and work independently
• Proficiency in English (verbal and reading)
• Willingness to work at various locations throughout the city
• Energetic with good attention to detail

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Building cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming
• Disinfecting touch points and washrooms
• Dusting and general cleaning duties
• Garbage removal
• Assisting co-workers and other tasks as directed by supervisors
