Evening Cleaning Floater Position

We are currently looking for a cleaning technician in the Fredericton area for evening cleaning. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, be flexible with hours, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Hours can vary from day to day, but the average schedule would be:

• Sundays from 12:00pm – 7:00pm
• Monday – Thursday from 5:00pm – 12:00am

35 hours per week.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Reliability
• Experience in janitorial work is an asset but not necessary
• Flexibility with hours, willing to stay late or come early if required
• Ability to work independently and around people
• Clean criminal record, with ability to provide a police background check and security clearances
• Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively in English (verbal and reading)
• Ability to work at various locations throughout the city
• Energetic with attention to detail and able to perform duties within specified time frames

Job Duties:

• Building cleaning including sweeping, mopping, disinfecting touch points, vacuuming, cleaning/disinfecting washrooms, dusting, general cleaning duties, garbage removal, and other tasks as directed by supervisors.
• Assisting co-workers as needed.
