Oxford International Halifax Centre is seeking an experienced nursing education professional to deliver evening coursework for the Continuing Care Assistant program. The role requires teaching across classroom, lab, and clinical settings in Nova Scotia, with a focus on student success and inclusive learning.

Applicants should have 5+ years in healthcare, current Nova Scotia RN/LPN registration, and be able to work flexible daytime/evening hours as program delivery dictates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the healthcare field.
• Current LPN/RN registration in Nova Scotia in good standing.
• Must be available and willing to work flexible hours, including both daytime and evening shifts.

Responsabilités

• Deliver theoretical, laboratory, and clinical instruction during scheduled evening class.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional materials using adult learning methodologies.
• Create a safe, engaging learning environment that supports student success.
• Monitor student progress in classroom, laboratory, and placement settings.
• Maintain accurate student records including attendance, grades, lab performance, and assignments.
• Provide one-on-one academic advising, performance coaching, counselling, and constructive feedback.
• Coordinate, monitor, and supervise student placements as required.
• Support recruitment and admissions initiatives as required.
