Job summary

LER TechForce is seeking a Battery Pack Test Engineer to join our client site in Windsor, ON. You will support testing and validation of advanced EV battery packs in a state-of-the-art lab, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and timely reporting.

The role requires a strong background in electrical/mechanical engineering, 3+ years in lab testing, and hands-on use of battery test equipment. Occasional overtime and off-shift coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• 3+ years of lab or engineering experience.
• Experience configuring, executing, and monitoring engineering tests.
• Hands-on lab equipment experience.
• Experience collecting and reporting test data.
• Knowledge of lithium-ion battery technology.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Execute battery pack development and validation testing per procedures.
• Operate battery test system hardware and software.
• Run automated test scripts and generate reports.
• Create and maintain SOPs and work instructions.
• Perform daily lab testing following safety protocols.
• Analyze and document test data with emphasis on quality.
• Communicate test status with engineering teams.
• Deliver interim and final test reports; assist root cause investigations.
• Support battery diagnostics and teardown activities as needed.
• Maintain lab certifications and training.
