We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ETL Test Engineer with over 6 years of expertise in ETL testing, data validation, and data quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, hands-on experience with modern ETL tools, and a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts. This role involves leading test strategy design, execution, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and quality across systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of comprehensive ETL test strategies and test cases.
• Perform data validation, transformation testing, and ensure data quality and integrity across various systems.
• Collaborate with development and business teams to understand data requirements and business rules.
• Analyze complex data flows and validate data pipelines using SQL and ETL tools.
• Work with databases such as Snowflake, Oracle, or Teradata to perform backend testing.
• Utilize ETL tools like Informatica, Ab Initio, DataStage, or DBT for test execution and validation.
• Apply data warehousing concepts including Star/Snowflake schemas, fact/dimension tables.
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks to streamline testing processes.
• Lead and mentor testing teams, manage project timelines, and ensure quality deliverables.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in ETL testing and data validation.
• Proficient in SQL with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Ab Initio, DataStage, or DBT).
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
