Position Name – ETL QA Test Analyst

Type of hiring – Full-time

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced ETL QA Test Analyst to join our team supporting enterprise-level data initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Data Warehouse/ETL testing, with excellent SQL skills and experience working with large data environments. Proficiency in data quality frameworks, test automation, and tools such as Python, Snowflake, and Hadoop is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end ETL and data warehouse testing across enterprise applications.
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans based on business and technical requirements.
• Write and execute complex SQL and PL/SQL queries to validate data accuracy, transformations, and integrity.
• Validate data across multiple systems including MDM, Snowflake, and Hadoop environments.
• Develop and maintain test cases, RTM, and test data sets.
• Conduct various test phases (unit, integration, regression, data validation, etc.) for medium to large-scale projects.
• Utilize QA automation tools (preferably Python) for data validation and regression testing.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and quality standards.
• Perform data profiling, auditing, reconciliation, and analysis of large datasets.
• Manage defects using tools like JIRA or ALM.
• Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and data engineers.
• Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 5+ years of QA experience focusing on ETL/Data Warehouse environments.
• Deep understanding of data models, ER diagrams, and data mart concepts.
• Strong knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
• Experience working with large datasets and data quality frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
