The COUP in Calgary is seeking an on-site Cook to join our kitchen team. You will plan menus, prepare dishes, supervise staff and manage daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Ideal candidates have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience, a College/CEGEP or equivalent, and strong attention to detail, teamwork, and time management. This on-site role requires physical presence at the restaurant location.

Competenze

• College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen.

Mansioni

• Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Manage kitchen operations
