Job summary

Zohorecruit's client, a leading construction organization in the Greater Toronto Area, is seeking an Intermediate Civil Estimator with 4–6 years of experience. The role involves analyzing contract documents, developing schedules, performing quantity take-offs, and contributing to pricing and risk analysis for multi-million-dollar projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in related discipline or trade experience.
• 4–5 years of related estimating experience.
• Project scope around $25 million.
• In-office position.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contract documents to determine project requirements.
• Contribute to establishing a critical path schedule, including milestones.
• Complete quantity take-offs for labor, equipment, and materials.
• Contribute to pricing for general expenses and project-specific requirements.
• Document all estimate information for project teams upon award and ensure all documents and data support estimate figures.
• Conduct risk analysis for review by the assigned project sponsor.
• Review proposal specifications and attend pre-bid meetings.
