Job description

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive project estimates for new build residential (multifamily) and ICI projects. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure comprehensive costing and risk analysis during the pre-construction phase.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare quantity take-offs, pricing, and detailed cost estimates for residential multifamily and ICI new build projects.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and post-tender reviews.
• Coordinate with the project team to develop value engineering solutions and clarify scope.
• Maintain current unit pricing, historical cost data, and estimating systems.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a dedicated estimating role, ideally with exposure to both residential multifamily and ICI sectors.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Proficiency with estimating software (such as PlanSwift , Bluebeam , STACK , Timberline , or similar).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
