• Advanced Excel skills; Power Apps/Power BI are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive and accurate cost estimates for complex structures and projects.
• Review and validate estimates produced by team members.
• Conduct gap analyses and deliver actionable reports with recommendations.
• Prepare detailed documentation outlining the full scope of work in estimates and proposals.
• Collaborate with designers, architects, and cross-functional teams to meet client budgets.
• Review RFQs, contracts, and bid documents for completeness and accuracy.

Location is in Richmond, BC. Candidates located outside of commuting distance to Richmond will not be considered at this time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our clients team in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. In this role, you will play a critical part in assembling accurate cost estimates across a range of projects during the sales and budgeting phases. Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive and accurate cost estimates for complex structures and projects.
• Review and validate estimates produced by team members, applying strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Conduct gap analyses across various commodities, performing root cause analysis and delivering actionable reports with recommendations.
• Prepare detailed documentation outlining the full scope of work included in estimates and proposals.
• Collaborate with designers, architects, and cross-functional teams to ensure client requirements are met within budget constraints.
• Review RFQs, contracts, and bid documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with proposal standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience in construction or manufacturing environments.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction and engineering drawings.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in Power Apps and Power BI considered an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and produce accurate estimates with limited information.
• Strong communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Pay

$80,000 – 90,000 annually

Location

On-site in Richmond, BC 5 days per week
