Job summary

The Wickaninnish Inn's Ancient Cedars Spa seeks an Esthetician to join a Relais & Châteaux property known for Forbes and Michelin recognition. You will deliver relaxation-based skincare and nail services, while contributing to a world-class guest experience within a small, dedicated team.

You will perform facials, body treatments, waxing, and retail recommendations while upholding the highest hygiene standards and staying current with industry trends.

Qualifications

• Esthetician license or equivalent training.
• Experience in spa service delivery is preferred.
• Ability to perform facials, waxing, and body treatments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver facials and skin treatments tailored to client needs.
• Perform manicures, pedicures, and other nail services.
• Provide personalized consultations and product recommendations.
• Conduct hair removal using waxing, threading, and laser treatments where applicable.

Estheticians are a key part of the service delivery team at the Ancient Cedars Spa. By offering relaxation-based treatments, our Therapists and Practitioners pamper our guests and add to their world class memorable experience at the Wickaninnish Inn. Estheticians are to perform a variety of treatments such as manicures, pedicures, facials, and body treatments, as well as participate in our retail product sales program.

As An Esthetician You Will

• Ensure efficient and personalized guest service meeting and exceeding Relais & Chateaux, AAA 4 & 5 Diamond and Forbes Standards.
• Provide Skin Treatments: Administer facials, peels, and other relaxation-based skin treatments tailored to clients' specific needs to enhance their appearance and promote healthy skin.
• Conduct Consultations: Assess clients' skin conditions, discuss skincare goals, and recommend personalized treatment plans and products.
• Perform Hair Removal: Utilize techniques such as waxing, threading, and laser treatments to remove unwanted hair from various body parts.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure all tools, equipment, and work areas are sanitized and comply with health and safety regulations to provide a safe and hygienic environment.
• Stay Updated on Trends: Continuously update knowledge on the latest skincare products, techniques, and industry trends to provide elevated services and recommendations.

• The ability to make a commitment to the position for a mutually understood and agreed upon period of time.

Salary/Wage:

25–35% commission on services, plus 10–15% retail commission, paid monthly
