Job summary

Gateway Casinos is seeking an experienced Esthetician to join its spa team in Canada. This part-time position offers an hourly wage with potential for growth and a focus on premium skincare for a loyal client base.

You will perform professional treatments, uphold hygiene standards, and maintain accurate records. The role requires an aesthetic diploma and at least two years of experience, with the ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provides qualified and professional treatments in accordance with Spa standards.
• Abides by the hygienic standards.
• Ensures equipment and supplies are sanitized.
• Attends scheduled Spa operation meetings.
• Keeps accurate records of commissions and gratuities owed.
• Maintains a positive, caring service with a friendly attitude.
• Advises clients on skin and body care.
• Participates in training to maintain high standards.
• Complies with dress code and employee conduct.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides qualified and professional treatments in accordance with Spas standards.
• Abides by the professionally accepted standard of hygiene.
• Ensures that all equipment and supplies are properly sanitized/discarded.
• Attends scheduled meetings to discuss the Spa’s operation.
• Keeps accurate records of all commissions and gratuities owed.
• Maintains a positive and caring service with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude.
• Advises clients on skin and body care.
• Attends organized seminars or training for therapists and estheticians to maintain our high standards.
• Complies to dress codes and maintain a well‑kept and tidy appearance as outlined in the spa’s employee code of conduct documentation.
• Follows and complete items on check list.
• Complies to hotel policies and procedures.

What You Bring

• Aesthetic diploma to meet Provincial regulations and/or accredited associations.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time with frequent bending.
