Job summary

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited in Kamloops is seeking a dynamic Server for casual/part-time shifts in a fast-paced dining room. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and help create a welcoming guest experience while promoting events and products.

Requirements include at least one year in a high-volume casual dining setting, cash handling experience with POS, Serving It Right, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• Serving It Right certification.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.

• One year or more experience in a similar high-volume restaurant (casual dining) environment.
• Cash handling experience using POS system or cashier register.
• Serving It Right
• Proven service skills in a dining, retail, or promotions environment.
• Ability to carry up to 30 pounds, specifically a fully loaded serving tray.
• Knowledge of specialty food and beverage items.
