Job summary

MNP is seeking an Estate Manager in Bathurst to join their Consumer Insolvency team. This role involves assisting Canadians with financial challenges and providing trusted advisory services.

Qualifications

  • Completion of the Insolvency Administration course and/or BIA Insolvency Counselor course.
  • Experience in a professional service environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both French and English.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and delivery of consumer insolvency services.
  • Administer formal insolvency appointments including bankruptcies and proposals.
  • Develop relationships with referral sources like credit counsellors and lawyers.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning and delivery of consumer insolvency services
  • Assist with administering formal insolvency appointments including bankruptcies and proposals
  • Develop relationships with current and potential referral sources including credit counsellors, debt counsellors, lawyers, accountants, etc.
  • Prepare and review relevant BIA documentation
  • Help identify innovative ways to deliver added value to debtors; ensure debtor needs are met
  • Maintain high quality control and apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues or key risks relevant to the debtor
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
  • Maintain flexibility to travel periodically, as necessary
Skills And Experience
  • Completion of the Insolvency Administration course and/or BIA Insolvency Counselor course, or willingness to work toward the same depending on experience
  • Insolvency experience; professional services experience outside of insolvency will also be considered
  • Ability to speak French and English (written and oral) is considered a strong asset
