Job opportunities open to full‑time Fanshawe College students who qualify for the Work Study Bursary program.

Eligibility

• Full‑time registered students at Fanshawe College who meet financial needs assessment criteria.
• International students must have a valid work permit.
• Must be in good academic standing according to program requirements.
• Eligible to apply to the Work Study Employment Program.

Temporary Part‑Time (September 2026 – April 2027) Up to 20 hours of work per week.

Summary

The Esports Content Creator will develop, design, and publish digital content to promote the FSU’s Esports program across social media platforms, the FSU website, and other digital channels. Responsibilities include creating engaging posts, graphics, short‑form videos, promotional materials, and event coverage. The role requires a creative, detail‑oriented individual passionate about gaming, social media, and digital trends, who will work closely with the Esports team and Communications staff to maintain consistent brand messaging and showcase the dynamic culture of Esports at Fanshawe.

Job Duties

• Design and publish social media content (graphics, stories, reels, posts, etc.) to highlight Esports events, players, and community updates.
• Create short‑form video content and promotional material for FSU platforms.
• Attend Esports events, tournaments, and practices to capture photos and content.
• Collaborate with the Esports team and Communications staff to ensure alignment with brand standards.
• Maintain a consistent posting schedule across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, and YouTube.
• Monitor engagement analytics to help optimize content strategy.
• Develop content calendars and campaign ideas to grow community engagement.
• Assist with livestream promotion and digital marketing for Esports broadcasts.
• Organize and archive media assets for ongoing use.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be a full‑time Fanshawe College student approved for the Work Study program.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and social media platforms.
• Excellent communication and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Reliable, punctual, and creative.

Preferred

• Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, CapCut).
• Strong understanding of content trends on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
