Job summary

Cannara Biotech Inc. seeks a Master Data Analyst to ensure ERP master data accuracy, governance, and consistency across our Canadian operations. You will enable reliable planning, traceability, and reporting for informed decision-making.

You will own item masters, BOMs, suppliers, customers, and data hierarchies; collaborate with Supply Chain, Production, Sales & Marketing, Quality, and IT; perform cleansing, audits, and user training to prevent data degradation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a Tier 1 ERP environment (Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle or equivalent).
• Experience managing large SKU portfolios with data complexity.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, able to detect inconsistencies and risks.
• Understanding of supply chain and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in Excel / Power Query / Power BI for validation and reporting.
• Bilingual English/French; strong written and verbal communication for training across Canada.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain master data (items, BOMs, UoM, lots, vendors, customers) in the ERP.
• Implement and enforce data governance standards and naming conventions.
• Monitor data quality KPIs (completeness, duplicates, inactive data, misaligned attributes).
• Support new product launches by creating BOMs, routings, and item masters.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Production, Sales & Marketing, Quality, and Finance.
• Perform regular audits and cleansing to prevent data degradation.
• Train end-users on proper data usage and request processes.
• Partner with IT and ERP admins for system improvements and data automation.
• Support WMS implementation and alignment with ERP data governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, update, and maintain master data (items, BOMs, UoM, lots, vendors, customers) in the ERP
• Implement and enforce data governance standards, naming conventions, and attribute completeness rules
• Monitor data quality KPIs (completeness, duplicates, inactive data, misaligned attributes)
• Support new product launches (NPI/NPL) by creating BOMs, routings, and item masters
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Production, Sales & Marketing, Quality, and Finance to ensure correct master data setup
• Perform regular audits and cleansing activities to prevent data degradation
• Train end-users on proper data usage and request processes
• Partner with IT and ERP administrators for system improvements and automation of data flows
• Support WMS implementation and process mapping, ensuring alignment with ERP data governance

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Tier 1 ERP environment (preferably Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
• Proven experience managing large-scale SKU portfolios with high data complexity
