Job summary

Murex is seeking a Risk Management Solutions Specialist in Toronto to support and implement risk modules within the MX platform. You will perform financial product analysis, validate models, and tailor solutions for client needs.

You will gather requirements, configure systems, run tests, and help clients during implementation while collaborating with teams and delivering within timelines. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/Engineering/Financial Engineering/Applied Finance/Math.
• Strong understanding of financial risk management and markets.
• Strong background in mathematics applied to finance.
• Knowledge of SQL (Oracle or Sybase) and Unix commands a plus.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Proven team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive and high-quality support to clients using the Risk modules of the MX platform.
• Micro analysis of financial products and derivatives trading activities.
• Validation and analysis of financial products, models and risk profiles.
• Functional design and technical mapping to tailor Murex solutions to client's business.
• Ensure successful follow up of client cases, from notification to resolution and validation.
• Gather requirements, configurations, tests and assist during implementation.
• Understand client business and deliver high-quality solutions within project timelines.
• Conduct training sessions and contribute to training materials and documentation.
• Participate in demos and workshops; assist in presales demos/workshops.
