Job summary

Murex is seeking a junior professional to join our global team, working on capital markets workflows with a focus on FX or Fixed Income. You will complete onboarding covering financial markets, products, and the MX.3 platform before joining a project team.

You will translate business requirements into practical MX.3 solutions, support implementation and client inquiries, and verify that workflows meet documented business needs. This role blends finance, analytics, and technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (finance/engineering/math/CS).
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in trading, capital markets or fintech.
• Foundational understanding of derivatives, swaps, bonds, FX and interest-rate products.
• Strong analytical mindset to structure problems and derive solutions.
• Ability to learn quickly across financial, functional and technical concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication for business and technical audiences.
• Client orientation and interest in building trusted relationships.
• Collaborative but autonomous, with good prioritization in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop hands-on knowledge of capital markets workflows, focusing on FX or Fixed Income.
• Complete onboarding on financial markets and MX.3 platform.
• Translate business requirements into MX.3 solutions.
• Support implementation, configuration, testing, and client issue resolution.
• Validate trading, valuation and risk management workflows against requirements.
• Collaborate with consultants and stakeholders to propose solutions.
• Contribute to client-facing initiatives and communicate findings clearly.
• Research topics at the intersection of finance, analytics, risk management and technology.
