Job summary

A healthcare organization in Port McNeill, Canada is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive emergency care. This role includes assessing and evaluating client needs while fostering a collaborative environment with the interdisciplinary team. Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing school and current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives. The successful candidate will have advanced emergency care training and excellent communication and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
• Completion of a recognized advanced program in emergency care nursing or two (2) years’ recent, related experience.
• Current CPR certification within 2 years; ACLS and PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate client care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver client-centered care responding to changing health care needs.
• Practice in accordance with ethical standards and professional guidelines.
