Job summary

Northern Health is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department at Wrinch Memorial Hospital. You will provide direct patient care, assess complex health issues, and work with an interprofessional team to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires BC RN registration, an Emergency nursing specialty, BLS/ACLS, and the ability to respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing and BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) registration as an RN.
• Completion of an Emergency Nursing specialty program or equivalent.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, provide, and evaluate nursing care for ED patients.
• Collaborate with the interprofessional team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Provide care for a range of cases from non-urgent to life-threatening in the ED.
• Demonstrate evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.
