Northern Health in Prince Rupert is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join the Emergency/High Acuity team at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital. You will deliver compassionate patient care under the supervision of the manager and work with an interprofessional team.

The role requires ER specialty training, BCCNM RN registration, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, with a focus on patient and family centered care and evidence-based practice.

Qualificações

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing and registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as a practicing RN registrant.
• Completion of a recognized Emergency & High Acuity specialty program or equivalent education/training/experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Canadian Triage Acuity Scale (CTAS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency/High Acuity department.
• Assess, plan, provide and evaluate nursing care for patients with complex conditions.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to coordinate care across services.
• Promote patient- and family-centered care, while adhering to NH policies and professional ethics.
