Western Veterinary Specialist & Emergency Centre in Calgary, AB is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to join the ER & ICU team. This role offers the opportunity to work with board-certified specialists and learn advanced veterinary medicine.

The ideal candidate will have Alberta RVT credentials, strong anesthesia experience, and excellent communication within a busy, multi-disciplinary hospital.

Formación

• Registered Veterinary Technician in Alberta.
• Prefer 3+ years RVT experience, ideally in ER/referral.
• Experience with anesthesia in dogs and cats.
• Strong multitasking and time-management in fast-paced settings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Inpatient care: treatment, diagnostics, monitoring of ill hospitalized patients.
• Triage: assess priority and assist with diagnostics and admissions.
• Administering anesthesia for minor emergencies and assist in recovery.
• Communicating with clients and referring hospitals.
• Support top clinicians to ensure high-quality patient care.
