Job summary

Collingwood General & Marine Hospital in Collingwood, ON is seeking an ER Clerk to join the Emergency Department. You will help coordinate admissions, discharges and transfers, and play a key role in keeping patient flow moving smoothly.

This part-time permanent role offers an hourly wage and benefits alignment. The position requires clerical health-care experience, familiarity with medical terminology, and strong computer/typing skills.

• Register patients using the Meditech computer system and entering data accurately.
• Perform all clerical duties related to admission, discharge, transfers, etc.

• Complete requisitions for diagnostic testing, schedule tests & appointments and arrange for ambulances as necessary.
• Operate switchboard after hours as requested.
