The Hospital for Sick Children invites applications for an Emergency Clerk. You will be the first point of contact for patients and families, providing clerical and administrative support to ensure smooth department operations.
You will schedule and coordinate patient care, maintain records, answer phones, and assist staff across the Emergency Department. A diploma in medical administration and related certificates are assets for applicants.

As an Emergency Clerk you will frequently be the first point of contact when patients and families arrive and move through the department. You will provide service in a patient and family-focused manner. You will facilitate the delivery of patient care, within your scope, by providing a high level of support and assistance to staff and patients/families. You will also support the operation of the department by providing clerical and administrative functions in a proactive and organized manner.
