Qualifications

• Masters' degree in supervision of instruction, program & curriculum development or administration or related field.
• Hold a valid BC Professional Teaching Certificate.
• Recent, successful administrator or teaching experience.
• Commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Management: supervise staff, oversee operations, ensure compliance with regulations.
• Educational Leadership: work on the district management team and communicate a clear school vision.
• Instructional Leadership: monitor student progress and implement improvement strategies.
• Student and Staff Support: address academic, behavioral, and social needs; foster a safe, inclusive culture.
• Community Engagement: partner with parents, professionals, and community service agencies.
• Cultural Leadership: embed equity practices and Indigenous perspectives in school goals.
• Professional Development: promote ongoing learning and use of modern teaching methods and technologies.
