West Red Lake Gold Mines Ltd. is seeking experienced Miner 2 - Jackleg/Stopper Bolters to join their team at the Madsen Gold Mine in Red Lake, Ontario. This full-time role offers a 14/14 rotation with FIFO and camp accommodations, providing a competitive base rate and a production bonus program.

Ideal candidates will have underground hard rock mining experience, proficiency with jackleg and stopper drills, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork in a modern underground environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of underground hard rock mining experience.
• Prefer jackleg/ stopper bolting role experience.
• Experience installing ground support in development, deck, and sill mining.
• Knowledge of underground mining methods and mine safety procedures.
• Willingness to submit a criminal background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol test.

What You’ll Need

• Minimum 3 years of underground hard rock mining experience, preferably in a jackleg / stopper bolting role
• Demonstrated experience installing ground support in development, deck, and sill mining environments
• Knowledge of underground mining methods, ground control practices, and mine safety procedures
• Strong commitment to safety standards and operational excellence
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
• Physically fit and capable of performing demanding work in underground mining conditions
• Willingness to complete a criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug and alcohol test
