Job summary

Jardeg is recruiting experienced Equipment Operators to work with JCL Industrial Constructors Inc. on the BHP Jansen project near Leroy, SK.

The role requires operating multiple heavy machines and adhering to safety protocols; CSTS-2020 is required and a valid driver’s license is needed. Camp accommodations are provided, with potential travel allowance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Equipment Operator on industrial, mine, or heavy civil projects.
• CSTS-2020 / SCOT
• Valid Driver's License
• Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test

Responsibilities

• Operate different equipment including Skid Steer, Front End Loader, Telehandler, etc.
• Perform misc skidsteer tasks such as backfilling and final grading.
• Load and unload trailers, backfill, stockpile materials.
• Support site operations with telehandler duties and routine maintenance.
• Maintain and service equipment as required.
• Perform pre-operational inspections of equipment.
• Identify safety risks and hazards on site.
• Demonstrate safe operation of all equipment.

The schedule for this position is14 days on and 7 days off. This position does offer camp and/or travel allowance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Competent to operator different equipment including but not limited to Skid Steer, Front End Loader, Telehandler, etc.
• Miscellaneous skidsteer work, including but not limited to backfilling and final grading.
• Loader duties include loading and offloading trailers, backfilling, stockpiling, etc.
• Telehandler duties include loading and offloading, site support, equipment maintenance, etc.
• Properly maintain and service equipment as required
• Perform pre-operational routine inspections of equipment.
• Identify safety risks and hazards on site.
• Demonstrates safe operation of all equipment

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Equipment Operator on industrial, mine, or heavy civil projects
• CSTS-2020 / SCOT
• Valid Driver's License

Clean Driver's Abstract

• Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
